For a mom of two going shopping or even to a mall is a nightmare, let alone trying on anything. So when Nordstrom started their early access anniversary sale online at 2 am, I was quick to order. Yesterday I finally received rest of my packages, so the try on was a must. I was very pleased, almost everything I ordered worked out fine, except for some pants (short girl problems).
I LOVE shopping this sale because its all the new fall merchandise that is on major sale. This sale is for a short period time before the prices goes back up to regular retail. And also its a great way to gear up for fall’s hottest trends. Although some pieces can be worn now and easily transitioned into fall/winter. To be honest, I wasn’t too impressed with their Anniversary sale this year as I was last year, most of the things I ended up purchasing were basics. Also I wasn’t too impress with their shoe collection, most of the trends with boots and booties were very similar to last year.
Now arguing the total amount I spent didn’t go too well with the hubby. There was a lot of guilt…”its okay we don’t HAVE TO pay a mortgage this month or save money for kids college.” Oh don’t worry I get this guilt speech every time I come home with shopping bags lol.
