This holiday inspired tablescape is sponsored by MacKenzie-Childs. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Hello my lovlies! I recently had the privilege of being invited to the Christmas virtual (thanks to Covid-19) event hosted by MacKenzie-Childs in Nashville with some of my fellow bloggers. I was over the moon excited because I remember watching the Kardashian and seeing the infamous MacKenzie-Childs Tea kettle always in the background and thinking wow that’s so unique. That’s when I first learned the name Mackenzie-Childs.
During the 3 day event we learned so much about the brand and the history behind it. MacKenzie-Childs was founded in 1983 in Aurora, New York and creates beautiful products adding character, joy and personality to your home. What I love most about MacKenzie-Childs is how so many pieces are hand-painted so perfectly for one of a kind uniqueness. By end of the event MacKenzie-Childs to me stood for something more than just a brand, it represents traditions and values. Something I hope to pass down to my kids and so forth.
I also had the privilege of picking out a few new pieces to update my dining room tablescape for the Holidays this year. Because of the pandemic this year it was just going to be us (my husband and my kids) But I wanted to be special for us.
I wanted classic pieces that I would be able to mix and match with pieces from my current dining collection. I also wanted to be able to use all my MacKenzie-Childs all year long. So I also choose pieces from their iconic Courtly Check collection. So I started with a Courtly Check charger plate. Another piece that stood out to me was from their oh so elegant Soho collection was their dinner plate. It represented my style and matched my home decor. One thing I learned from MacKenzie-Childs is that dont be afraid to mix and match patterns and create your own one of a kind style. With those key items I was able to create something very special for us to enjoy for the holidays.
MacKenzie-Childs truly is for everyone. They have pieces that work with any budget and their whimsical patterns make it so easy to mix and match with things you already have. So if you are looking to build your own MacKenzie-Childs collection I highly suggest starting with Courtly Check pieces. They are the easiest to mix and match with any and all of their other or your own collections.
I hope you enjoyed my post.
