Nars ITA: at $55.00… YES $55, that’s right for a make-up brush. YIKES!!! But trust me it is worth every penny. Out of all the contour brushes on the market this one takes the cake. This brush is great for those who are new to this contouring game. This brush can be used to create the most precise contour, or even for a light bronzed look. The bristles on this brush are just a little dense and very soft, which makes blending easy peasy. So that’s right ladies get your Kim K contour on.
MAC 163: At $35, this brush can be intimidating when you look at it first; it was also the first contour brush I bought. The bristle on this brush is very dense and short, which make this brush great for will-defined contour. It deposits color exactly where you want it, so you might want to start of light handed. Some people do complain that it does not blend well, so if you run into that trouble just use another brush to blend. In my opinion, this brush works great with cream contour. You do need to get the hang of this brush so practice and don’t give up.
MAC 168: ($35) AHH this “Large angled contour brush” is AMAZING, even though the descriptions says “large” it isn’t that big and it fits perfectly on the hallows of your checks. It has soft natural hair, which picks up product great. This brush is perfect for that bronzy contour look that is very soft. If you want that well defined in your faced chiseled contour look then I wouldn’t recommend this brush. Not do I just use this brush to contour, I use it for blusher, bronzer, face powder and for highlighting (got my moneys worth).
